We had the opportunity of meeting the participants at the Blender workshop held at IGNOU recently. We were delighted to see that even end of Day 1, the participants were able to draw basic 3D shapes like a table and chair, etc.

In all, I understand that the workshop at IGNOU was extremely successful. I have recommended that many more such Blender workshops should be held all over India based on the Spoken Tutorials for Blender already available.
Importantly (by learning LaTeX), students are more benefited through such workshops as this software is useful in their academic activities like designing seminar reports, final year project report, generating PDF file which is more attractive in appearance compared to MS Office document.

I found it very interesting to learn from a video which has well structured slides as well as practical videos of the commands in action compared to any regular lecture.
I am a 3rd Year B.Tech student from I.T.E.R, Bhubaneswar and I have already gone through the Ubuntu-Linux course. I would be going for more courses in the near future. Apart from that we have every flexibility to play, pause, rewind and forward the video. I believe this is easy to take any course from your portal for almost any category of student. I further believe that if this program is promoted in every efficient way among different students related to this background then any course won't be anymore 'jargon' to them.
I have already told many of my friends in different institutes like SILICON, GITA, IIIT, OEC, NIST and KEC in Odisha. Now I want to spread the spark in a organized way.

When you shared your experience with Marathwada Institute of Technology at that time I was thinking about the difficulties that I had faced during my school days as a student from a poor village family.
I am sure those tutorials will definitely help the students from rural India for easy learning of computer programming. I am working with Free software movement since 2008 and working in Fluent and ANSYS for the past 2 years, even though literally I was unaware of the open source version of fluent until you told.
Also I would like to participate in any kind of basic workshop on Python using spoken tutorial in coming days.
